«The decision to hold the Championships in Ekaterinburg was made in July, 2014. This city was elected due to its long-standing table tennis traditions and the right position on how this sport should be developed. We have been working hard on organizational issues and we clearly understand that the Organizing Committee will do their best to hold the Championships at the highest level. I am grateful to the Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region for prominent support for the Organizational Committee. I am convinced that table tennis as well as the region itself will benefit from this Championships» – Mr. Ronald Kramer summarized the meeting results.
